About Us
Rajapur Samaz Kalyan Sanastha is a voluntary social service organization for social action and economic development in an integrated way. The organization was established in the year 2019 by the initiative of some kind-hearted and sensitive person who tries to provide assistance and support towards the betterment of the landless poor people, who are deprived, exploited and lead their life in deplorable conditions.
Our organization has been working for the overall social-economic-educational development among the rural areas of Nadia. The society started its activities in 2019 and was registered in the same year under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act.,1961 based on their activities.
We have carefully designed the development and awareness program with its adaptability in the local scenario. It is our key truth area for the control of poverty and work for development.
We educate the children on the importance of education, good dietary habits, and healthy living habits, empowerment for youth and women. These programs are free of cost and no charge is to be paid, however, we accept voluntary donation from the masses which is our sole source of mobilizing the resources in absence of assistance from government / others. Despite all hurdles, we have the credit of being the organization generating awareness and development.
Rajapur Samaz Kalyan Sanastha is registered with the Registrar of Societies under WEST BENGAL SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT XXVI of 1961 and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) and the Registration Number is S0005002 of 2019-2020. We are also registered under section 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 bearing Registration No.— CIT(EXEMPTION), KOLKATA/2020-21/12AA/11922 dated 03/02/2021. Also Registered under section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act 1961 bearing Registration No.— CIT(EXEMPTION), KOLKATA/2020-21/80G/10863 dated 03/02/2021.The city and state of registration are Ranaghat and West Bengal. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2020/0257193. The date of registration is 19/06/2019.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to empower the local communities to create income-generating capabilities for underprivileged rural people through small-scale enterprise opportunities, & to improve rural living standards of children in need through education, counseling, vocational training, health care for sustainable development. Besides this, we encourage Livelihood development through agricultural intervention.
Our Vision
We aim to improve education, health, etc. with a focus on children & women of deprived vulnerable sections of the society ensuring they grow up healthy – physically, mentally, confident & self-respecting. Mobilizing for participatory development strategy for improvement of socio-economic indicators through effective management of locally available resources. Our members try to provide services to agricultural farmers.
