Blood Donation Camp
The members arrange blood donation camps every year and send blood to a nearby health center. We all know the value of blood as it can’t be made in factories, the only source is the human body. Many patients suffering from chronic diseases, accident cases need blood. We organize blood donation camps to meet the need. In our camps, we also have an arrangement of some refreshments. People from nearby areas come to us and we are getting a huge response from them.
Food Distribution
Due to the effect of COVID-19 or Coronavirus, people are jobless and bound to be at home, but poor people are starving from hunger. From RSKS NGO in Nadia, we are trying to reach those poor communities as much as possible to serve them some essential commodities like Rice, Dal, Oil, Soap, Potatoes, eggs, detergent powders, etc. It is the next possible thing that we can do; to help the poor. We are trying our best and hope that this situation may go away soon.
Mask Distribution
Wearing masks or covering your faces with thick clothes is very-very important while going out from the home to stop spreading the virus. With this in mind, RSKS NGO distributed handmade masks to the poor and educated them about the importance of them. Many members of the NGO are making masks from cotton pieces that are comfortable in summer along with three layers that help prevent the virus. These masks are being distributed among the children and their parents in the near colony.
Awareness on Education
Children are the future of our society, they will take us ahead in the world, and will represent us in a new way. But before that, the children should be in a healthy society where they will get an education, will be free to learn & grow and most of all get their basic rights. Unfortunately, most of the children in our society don’t get proper food and shelter, education is a big deal for them. We understand the problem and came forward to help the children to get back their rights. RSKS NGO is determined to bring back those children in the mainstream of society where they all can have a normal life full of food, education, and shelter.
